The curtain went down on the Cannes Film Festival this weekend with a glamorous closing ceremony and awards presentation.
The Palme d'Or for Best Film to the producers of The Tree of Life and the Best Actress award for Melancholia went to Kirsten Dunst who teamed a white strapless embellished feathered gown from Chanel Spring 2011 haute couture collection with Valentino ‘Vintage’ pointed toe ankle strap pumps at the closing ceremony of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
She accesorized with a Chanel ‘Cascade De Diamants’ diamonds ring and wore her beautiful blonde hair in a messy updo for the event.
Kirsten Dunst took the “Best Actress Award” for her portrayal of a depressed woman at the end of the world in Lars von Trier’s ‘Melancholia’.

Uma Thurman, who has been on almost every red carpet of the festival in her capacity as a Cannes judge, wore an eye-popping electric blue Armani Privé longsleeve gown with embellished trim which looked utterly stunning on her. Her stunning gown with rhinestone embellishements around the neckline, hemline and along the back was paired with metallic strappy sandals. A chic chignon and silver disc Chopard earrings completed her look.
