Sweet 16... Ooops, 30!

We are back to London after two weeks of holidays in Portugal. And last week we celebrated our 30th birthday, or Sweet 30, as we like to say.

The cake was the highlight and we would love to share some pictures with you.

It was a "Lady Dior", one of our favorite handbags of all times. This "Devil's food cake" is made of chocolate and the filling was mascarpone and fruit, as strawberries and berries. One word: delicious! The worst part was to cut this masterpiece. Have a look and you will understand why...

Vogue Fashion's Night Out 2012

Last year we went to Selfridge's for Vogue's Fashion Night Out but this year we are heading west, we will be going to Westfield.

Vogue and Westfield London invite us to Vogue's Fashion Night Out tonight, Thursday 6th September for the ultimate shopping extravaganza with continued fashion events running until Sunday 9th September. 

Everyone can enjoy show stopping catwalk shows, beauty make-overs and mingle with friends and delve into your favourite stores, seeking out some truly fantastic offers from some of the biggest brands in fashion. 

Join us tonight at Westfield London for a spectacular show to kick off Fashion Night Out.

Victoria's Secret Bond Street Opening

Victoria's Secret London flagship store launch date has finally arrived. The long-awaited boutique on Bond Street will open its doors today, Wednesday August 29. The new store follows the opening of the smaller Westfield Stratford branch last month.

The impressive 40,386 square-foot emporium lives up to all hype - there are three floors of sparkling, super-glamorous and frilled fancies to choose from. While there are more pink, striped furnishings than fans could possibly wish for, the interior also has a British twist - think decorative paintings, carved, wooden fixtures and giant glass chandeliers. Walls are covered with black and white photographs of the Angels signed by the models themselves, while the shop floor is dotted with costumes from the brand's 2011 catwalk show in all their feathered, winged glory. Other highlights include the fourth-floor, invite-only VIP suite, where high-profile shoppers can sit in a makeshift library on plush sofas as they are presented with the label's latest collections. Sadly for fans, there will be no star-studded launch party - and no Angels will be present to celebrate today's opening. We have our fingers crossed for a London show instead.

The London flagship store has been one of the most anticipated launches of the year, and was first announced over a year ago in August 2011. Originally set to open prior to the Olympics alongside its Westfield sister store, the opening of the huge Bond Street space had been postponed until now.

Guess where we are going today.

Family Surprise

It was amazing when my brother and sister-in-law called saying they were travelling to London to make me a last minute surprise.

Mischa Barton says opening her eponymous store has been "quite an adventure". 

The stunning actress launched her flagship clothing boutique in London's fashionable east end earlier this week. Mischa is proud of her new venture and says opening her own store seemed the next step after delivering eight successful seasons of her handbag line.
