Arizona Muse for Louis Vuitton Cruise

Louis Vuitton’s latest Cruise campaign can have all the lush green palms and azure blue seas in the world – when it comes down to it, the thing that makes us want to step into Arizona Muse‘s tie-up espadrilles is her hair and makeup. They’re the elements that pull the campaign over the line, the icing of romantic idealism to the sponge cake of holiday travel. The waves in Muse’s bob undulate with a mix of modern ease and 1920s / 30s glamour (the same formula, one supposes, that the clothing was based on), with dark winged-out eyeliner as the finishing touch.

Versace for H&M Launch

Donatella Versace arrives at the H&M store on London's Regent Street this morning

"I love London," said Donatella Versace at the launch of the Versace for H&M collection this morning. "It's so exciting. We drove around this morning and saw all the people who have been waiting. It's incredible." As for whether she had ever wanted something enough to sleep outside over night to ensure she got it, the iconic blonde was reflective. "Hmmm, maybe a concert," she smiled.

Ski Bunny

V Magazine’s “The Model Issue” would hardly be complete without a few beauties of Victoria’s Secret fame spreading their wings within its pages. Candice Swanepoel appears in the shoot Ski Bunny which ventures into the potentially disastrous territory of Pamela Anderson-esque blonde bouncy hair and red hot pants, paired with (the very practical ensemble of) white patent knee-high boots and fluffy white faux fur. But this is a shoot that doesn’t take itself too seriously. This is ski bunny by the definition of ladies of leisure, trophy wives and barbie dolls, and Candice pulls it off with a retro kind of flair. One shot seems to tip its hat to Farrah Fawcett with flicked out curls and tanned skin, a white turtleneck and red fur-lined hood. An interpretation of ski bunny that borrows from the 70s, the 80s, and the now.

Pop that collar

Every so often there is a designer who either introduces a trend or regurgitates it in fantastical ways. Danny Tang is one of those creative brains who dedicated his first season in 2009 to accessories such as shrugs, collars, belts and neck pieces; a collection of edgy romantic "add-ons" to glam up any LBD-esque look. He then went on to become a sought after brand amongst the press and is still going strong with his range for spring 2012, titled: "A new Dimension".

Karlie Kloss for Numéro October 2011

Some models have a little something extra: they have presence. Karlie Kloss is one of them. On a runway, she slinks, glides, powers, prowls; when she poses she don’t just use her body but her eyes. A quality like that is more obvious than ever when placed against the starkness of a plain white backdrop. The model has to work twice as hard to captivate, given the surroundings go none of the way to creating any feeling.

Elie Saab Spring Collection 2012

Elie Saab named his Spring collection Color Shock, and though he opened with a group of pearly pales, he soon segued into more vivid shades in the bright thread he began for Resort.
The Elie Saab show can be relied upon for billowing, swirling red carpet dresses smothered in glitter and crystals galore that little girls aren’t really allowed to play dress up in and grown-up ones love to sometimes even if they don’t admit it.

The outlook for the High Street just got a little brighter: following a triumphant return to form for the Italian house at Milan Fashion Week, the long-awaited Versace for H&M collection has finally been revealed in its full Technicolor glory. As promised, Donatella Versace has raided the archives to produce a veritable greatest hits and, as expected, it's not for the faint of heart - but at these prices, you can be bold. Versace for H&M Collection

Versace for H&M

The wait to see the Versace for H&M collection in full is over - we have it all here to show you. Drawing on the heritage of the legendary fashion house, expect bright prints, bold colours and reinterpretations of iconic dresses. Plus, a first for the H&M designer collaborations, there will be homeware too.

"The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace. For the collaboration we've brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can't wait to see how H&M's wide audience will make these pieces their own," says Donatella Versace.

Today I'm feeling...

Science has it, since time immemorial, that the human eye is most sensitive to the color yellow. We can vouch with personal experience that a woman's eye is the most sensitive, out of all brands, to Victoria's Secret! Guess what? Here is a combination of both! This one is sure to hyper-sensitize many to its presence, just don it and see the Victorian effect!

Men’s Suits Winter 2011 Trends

Men’s fashion trends are greatly different to women’s. They exist, yes. But their cycle moves much slower. Nowhere is that truer then of men’s suit trends. While there are distinct styles of suits that feature amongst 2011′s fashion trends we should note from the get-go that they’re not unique to the year – in fact, many of the key looks you’ll find in this guide will still be in-fashion come 2012 and beyond. Which is a great thing – it means you can afford to spend more on a suit thus buying a quality piece of workmanship that you’ll still be able to wear for many a year to come. The same can’t be said of most fashion trends.
But what styles, cuts and cloths should you be looking for? Read on to find out.

Fall / Winter 2011 Fashion Trends

The final season for the first year of this new decade, and also the season that will go a long way to defining 2012′s fashion trends, autumn / fall 2011 is a crucial period for building your wardrobe and evolving your personal style.
So what’s in store for the seasons for men and women? Seventies fashion remains high on the list of carry-over trends, taking with it the likes of flares and wide-leg pants; while on the tough side, biker and punk follow through to the new season. You can read more about these and other upcoming fall 2011 fashion trends below.
